Sin, Hmm....

Very interesting.

I was talking and thinking today with my wifey @lashearogers_realtor about sin and how we view that word and some of the scripture we always heard growing up in church.

But here's where I shifted my perspective to.

Instead of trying not to sin, which obviously isn't 100% possible or really even sounds like something just awkward.

I just turned it around and started thinking about just simply saying no to satan. Or fuck you satan. Yeah, I've said that. A LOT!

What? Why? How? Oh my goodness. How could you say such a thing

Ya see the way I look at it, and what God tells us is that satan is trying to murder you, your life, your family, your mindset, your body, your business.... and steal everything parcel of life from you!

And I played way too nice with it for way too long. I use words of passion when I get angry enough. If someone was standing in your living room about to kill your wife or children. What would you say? Would you tolerate that very well?

To run out of my tomb of addiction, I had to get pissed!!

I don't think we get pissed off or take it seriously enough what God tells us about the impact of sin in our lives.

So I think the simple idea of just saying no to sin, is where I operate now.

Something comes up, I recognize it, then simply say nope! Fuck you satan!

The goal isn't to be perfect.

The goal is to, not crack the door that allows satan to begin stepping into our homes and our lives through our sinful choices.

God's grace is way more sufficient!
